Ladale’s Houses Onion Rings
Ingredients:
- 3 Yellow Onions
- 1 TBS- Auntie’s House Seasoning
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Corn Starch
- 2 cups Bread Crumbs (original)
- 1 cup Cold Water (add more if too thick)
- Canola oil
Directions: Slice 3 yellow onions into rings.
- In a large bowl mix corn starch, and flour then slowly pour ice cold water into the bowl! Whisk into a batter.
- In another bowl add bread crumbs, and Auntie’s House seasoning then mix!
- Dip the slice onion ring into batter and then into your bread crumb mix and set aside in a separate container until you’re ready to fry.
- After all your onion rings are coated pour canola oil into a pot and heat to 375 degrees.
- Now the fun part, drop your costed onion rings into the oil for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown! Place finished onion rings on a wire rack..Enjoy! Don’t forget the side of Unc’s House to dip! More recipes coming soon.
Spicy Caribbean Sandwich “The Pirate”
Ingredients:
- 2lbs chicken breast cutlets
- (JERK BLEND)
- Garlic salt
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
- Ginger
- Dried chilies
- Black pepper
- Adobo blend
(PIRATE SLAW)
- 1/4 jicama (cut into matchsticks)
- 1 cup Pickled carrots (cut into matchsticks)
- 2 Jalapeño (sliced)
- 1/2 Red onion (sliced
- 4 Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 Lemon and Lime juice
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 bunch Cilantro (rough chop)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- MARINATE CHICKEN in Jerk blend and Ladale’s houses granny’s house sauce for 30 mins
- Cook in pan until chicken reaches 165 degrees. Once done set aside.
- MIX SLAW INGREDIENTS IN BOWL AND SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER
- Butter bread and toast. Spread Granny’s House on each side places jerk chicken on bread and top with slaw mix. Pour a little extra granny’s house over the top and enjoy!
GRANNY'S HOUSE WINGS
Ingredients:
- 8 Chicken Wings
- Ladale's Houses Granny's House
- "Slap ya mama" seasoning
- 1 Tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp table salt
- 1 Tosp cracked black pepper
- 1 Tbsp of virgin olive oil
DIRECTIONS:
- In a large bowl place your chicken wings. Add your seasonings, and olive oil.
- In the same bowl add half a bottle of "Granny's House", then mix everything together. Place in fridge then fire up the bbq pit! (or oven)
- While your wings marinate in the fridge, light up your fire pit and make yourself a drink!
- Once your coals are grey and the rack is hot you can throw your wings on the grill. Close the grill!
- Cook the wings for 15 Mins and then flip! For another 20 Mins.
- As your wings become close to being done, grab your brush and lightly brush the top of your wings with your Granny's House then close the grill. After 5 mins, flip your wings and lightly brush the other side for another 5 mins!
- Remove wings, and plate them nicely! ENJOY...
